Everyone’s a conservative! YES!

Today I heard another Democratic ad praising conservatism. (The first was here.) This time, the radio ad was describing how brilliantly conservative the Democratic congressman Lincoln Davis is, and why voters should stick with him due to his pro-business, pro-gun, and anti-abortion positions.

Then the ad went on to dredge up some divorce court records of Davis’s opponent, Scott DesJarlais. According to the accusations of his ex-wife to the divorce court — which I’m assuming are probably false — DesJarlais threatened the wife with a gun, and later tried to get child support reduced, yada yada yada.

Anyway, I’m just going to go out on a limb here and say that, while both actions are bad, voting for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House is probably a worse sin than threatening your wife with a gun. I’m just sayin’. So this “conservative” Lincoln Davis character is pretty much the hypocritical the scum of the earth, as far as I’m concerned.

Happy Columbus Day!

Happy Columbus Day, everyone! This year, as usual, I have heard a bit of Leftist whining about Columbus Day (in my Facebook newsfeed). But I really get tired of hearing the people whine about Christopher Columbus’s supposed evil in bringing down the American Indian civilizations. If anyone laments the arrival of the Europeans to the New World, I think that person should go watch the movie Apocalypto by Mel Gibson. Granted, the movie was a bit over-the-top, and hard to watch, and not performed in English, and probably not one of Mel’s greatest hits. Nonetheless, it certainly gets a few points across:

Warning — The following video is somewhat disturbing.

I have said it once and I will say it again:  I am glad that the American Indian civilizations were conquered and destroyed. And I am glad that Columbus came and discovered them so that such conquest could eventually take place. Even at their best — i.e., when they weren’t offering human sacrifices — the Indians were still communistic drug-crazed tree worshippers who possessed essentially no inclinations toward science or progress. Good riddance to the American Indian societies.

Besides, it was mostly germs that killed off the Indians. So if we want to say that any person eliminated the Indians, it would probably be God himself. The Leftists should go whine to him, and not to me.

The Justice Firm

Well, I found out over the weekend that I did indeed pass the Bar exam this past July. It takes them about ten weeks to grade the thing. But at least now that is over with. At long last I can finally demand some respect!

Pretty soon I will found The Justice Firm. I can already see the commercials now:  “Justice is not just my name; it’s my business.” On the other hand, I suppose that some of my criminal clients may not actually want justice…but at least they will want everyone to think they want justice, so the slogan should work out fine.

Of course, as I’ve pointed out in the past, justice has to work against the police and the government, too, and not just against defendants. So I guess my less-innocent customers can always look at matters that way.

The Public Defender and all other defense lawyers are basically an Anti-Government Prosecutors. Whereas the District Attorney punishes you for breaking the government’s rules, the Public Defender punishes the government for breaking laws.

If the District Attorney’s Office incompetantly charges you with a crime that you have not broken, the defense lawyers will make the prosecutors look like fools. If the police stop your car for no reason . . ., and then violate the Constitution to search your car for drugs, a defense lawyer will free you even if you are guilty. He does so not because he likes criminals. Rather, he frees you in order to punish the government for breaking the law — and because you have paid him money.

Now, before I can start doing stuff, I just have to get “admitted to the Bar” — whatever that means. Hopefully it won’t take too long.

Bigots bigots bigots

I just love it when Leftists get destroyed by their own foolishness. Here, we see an example of one Leftist who tried to use the typical race-mongering Leftist strategy, but he overstepped the proper Leftist bounds in that he used the strategy to attack a fellow Leftist from a different minority group:

[Rick] Sanchez called out Comedy Central host Jon Stewart as a “bigot” for mocking him, and complained that Jews — like Stewart — don’t face discrimination. He also suggested that CNN, and perhaps the media industry more broadly, is run by Jews and elitists who look down on Hispanics like himself. Clearly, those comments didn’t sit well with the network, which put out a terse statement around 6 p.m. Friday.

“Rick Sanchez is no longer with the company,” the CNN statement read. “We thank Rick for his years of service and we wish him well.”

“Jews aren’t nearly as good a minority as my own people, the Hispanics. The Jews are all just evil, world-controlling haters of everyone but themselves. Waaahhh!” What an idiot. All these Leftists ever think about is race. Then they start calling the whole world “racist” to explain their own failure in life.

Anyway, it is great to see one of the Left try to use this race-mongering political tool on his own Leftist people, and then get struck down by those people in retribution for his foolishness.

Oh wait, am I a “bigot” now for taking pleasure in this story, Sanchez?
